Running Pink

Hi Lovelies!

I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend! I was in Dallas visiting the parents for my Momma’s birthday. We had a really great dinner at Buca Di Beppo and took a couple of hikes with the puppies:) If you take away the fact that my eyes swelled up and I couldn’t breathe due to allergies, it was a great weekend! Lol! I am so grateful my appointment with the allergist is tomorrow…it’s time to take some meds!

On to today’s post! This is a fashion blog. Fashion is what I love and it always will be, but given my new found love for running I wanted to incorporate it into the blog a little bit:) Not every day, not even every week, but when I feel like talking about it I’m going to! My blog, my rules, right? So, as most of you know, I am running a half marathon with my best friend in April and we are ROCKIN’ it! We’re training hard and eating well and it’s really paying off! I have to say, one thing I have noticed is that having awesome new gear always makes me want to train even harder. If you were here last week, you saw some of my awesome new work out gear, and a lot of you have seen the sparkle tank too….but you know me, the shopaholic, I am always looking for new “motivation”. Yeah, pretty sure I found it. are these not the cutest sports bras ever? And those headbands! Ahhh! I need it all. Don’t be surprised if you see any of this stuff popping up in my Instagram feed soon…I do have a gift card to VS after all:)

Oh no… your eyes swelled up. I have had the white of my eye swell before. I can’t remember what caused it but talk about scary. I hope they are doing much better now.

Those really are cute items. Would it make me want to exercise—Nope! No amount of anything would make me actually want to run or any of the other things one does to keep fit–I’m impossible, I know.

I haven’t tried the PINK stuff yet either. I love the real VS line though. I usually find with the PINK line that it is more made for teenagers and isn’t as supportive.

I have a similar pair of pink nikes that I still haven’t used. I also have a super cute pair of leopard print nikes for the gym. Too bad this flu is so bad right now because I want to start going to the gym.

I only go to the gym if it is too dark or cold to run outside. Which is usually during the week when I can’t get home before the sun sets.

I love the items you found. I love running but have no fashion skills what so ever. Luckily this year I am an Ambassador for Digital Running and they sent me what I have to wear to run. I used to wear a lot of pink last year though.

The sneakers are too cute! Love them. I have to admit that there’s something about new, divalicous workout clothing that will motivate me to get out there. Good luck on your half-marathon!
