A Walk Down Memory Lane With The Lyve App

**Thank you to Lyve for sponsoring today’s post and inspiring me to try the Lvyve app!**

My husband and I moved to Austin from Michigan back in the fall of 2011. When we moved, we left behind family as well as pretty much all of our friends. Our friend group is incredibly close (some may say too close, lol!), so we have always made an attempt to see each other a few times a year. This past weekend, two of those friends came to visit and we had an absolute blast! Having known each other for almost a decade now, the “Do you remember the time when” stories come up constantly. Those stories are usually followed up with a, “Do you have a picture of it?” Now, being the girl in the group it has been my (Self assigned) job to capture all of our fun moments together by taking WAY too many pictures. I am that person who has always taken a LOT of photos. All through high school and college I had my camera permanently attached to my hand at every party and social event we went to. Now a days, I try to take my Nikon with me whenever I can, and if I can’t take it my phone is there as my back up. Even though I have millions (literally) of photos from the last 27 years, my problem is always how to store them and how to make them accessible no matter where I am. There’s only so much room in Dropbox and Google Drive to store all of my photos, not to mention, that’s where I keep all of my blogging stuff and those photos take up SO much space!

With the new Lyve app, I can sync all of my photos from all of my devices! When I go visit my parents, I don’t have to pull out my computer to show them pictures of our most recent hike in Austin. If my phone is dead, I can still show my husband the cute picture I took of the dog earlier in the day on my computer. If I’m on an airplane I can pull up my family picture on my tablet to show the poor person who gets to sit next to me! It’s all there, on all of my devices, no matter where I go with the free app (iOS, Android, Mac, PC, Kindle)!

The photos are organized by date to help you better locate the one you’re looking for, which is especially great for those random phone photos you don’t remember when you took! You can even connect your Dropbox and Google Drive so that those photos are included as well! I would highly recommend if you are an avid photographer like me, or even if you just want to keep your photos organized and accessible!

Now that you’ve downloaded the app and become addicted, we’re having a giveaway! All That Glitters and Lyve are coming together to offer one lucky winner a LyveHome device (a $299 value)!  The Lyve Home is a 2 Terabyte smart storage drive that will securely and safely back up all your photos and videos on an always connected drive. I Downloaded this fun app on my desktop and phone using my yahoo email. I uploaded a lots of photos, but one that is a great memory was a family trip to Frankenmuth here in Michigan. We stayed at the Bavarian inn, and rode on the riverboat. It was the first time in a long time that the entire family had been together to create some memories. Love how this app keeps every picture in one place and organized by date. The photo editor is also very nice!
