12 Days Of Christmas Crafts Day 5: Paper Loop Christmas Tree

12 days of Christmas Crafts

Hi Lovelies!

Welcome to day 5 of Christmas crafts! This tree was another centerpiece at the holiday party on Friday. Isn’t it the cutest ever? You start with a styrofoam cone, 12×12 scrapbook paper, straight pins, and ribbon.

DIY Paper Loop Christmas Tree

Cut the 12×12 paper into 6 inch strips, you will fold each one in half and pin through both sides into the foam. Each layer should overlap the previous layer a little bit so that you can’t see the pins.

Isn’t the end result just adorable?!?

12 Days Of Christmas Crafts Day 2: Cupcake Liner Christmas Tree

12 days of Christmas CraftsHi Lovelies!

Welcome to Day 2 of the 12 days of Christmas crafts! Today I am going to show you how to make a cupcake liner Christmas tree! To begin you will need a foam cone, cupcake liners, scissors, straight pins, and some ribbon as shown below:

Cupcake Christmas Tree

To begin you will need to cut the bottoms off of the cupcake liners as shown:

Cupcake Wrapper Christmas Tree

Next, take the bottomless cupcake liners and stretch them around the base of the foam cone. Pin them into place. You will need more than one liner per layer at the bottom of the tree, and progressively less as you move upwards.

You can alternate patterns as you go up, or use the same design the entire way! Evenly space the liners so that the patterns on each layer show, but the pins do not.

Cupcake liner Christmas Tree Base

Before you make it to the very top, you will want to take an uncut cupcake liner and cover the point. Pin it into place. Then cover those pins with the last liner layer. I then tied a ribbon and pinned it in to place on the very top. You could also glue a paper star to a toothpick and stick this into the top!

There you have it, a cupcake liner Christmas tree!

Oh Deer: Part 1

Hi Lovelies!

Only one more day until my work holiday party and I am SUPER pumped….as you can tell by today’s outfit, I am getting more and more in a Christmasy mood! I have seen these leggings EVERYWHERE in the past month. Well, wouldn’t you know…just my luck, they have been SOLD OUT everywhere I look! Well, I finally found them at White Plum Boutique for $21.99 and I bought them that very moment. Unfortunately, they are sold out there now too….BUT they have some super similar, just with red and green instead of red and grey!

As you can see up there^^ it says “part 1″….that means this is part of a series! Woot woot! Next week I will be showing you a few other awesome ways to wear these leggings, and deer pieces in general! So stay tuned…

This is the most comfortable outfit in the history of outfits. The leggings are so soft, they almost feel fuzzy (they’re not). The shirt from Charming Charlie is super soft as well, and you can wear it with pretty much anything…and these boots <sighs>. You pretty much need to own this entire outfit, just sayin’!

I hope you had a chance to check out the first day of my 12 Days of Christmas Crafts series this morning! I will be posting a new Christmas craft every day until Christmas Eve, so be sure to stop back in every day and see what I have to show!12 days of Christmas Crafts
