Mustard & Lace

Mustard Cardigan with lace tunicEven though it hasn’t been in the 6o’s again since last weekend I have still been in such a fall mood. It rained pretty much all week last week so I’m pretty sure that is what kept up my fall mood swing:) This outfit was one I wore to work (I’m sure my coworkers thought I was crazy because it was 85) and as I told you in my last post about it, this top is going to be on the blog a lot this season. I know this because this is the second time you have seen it just in the last week! It goes perfectly under a sweater like this Target one and takes your plain Jane boyfriend cardi to a whole new level with all of that lace! Throw in a little pop of another color, like that turquoise Rachael Ryen necklace I have on and your outfit is a perfect girlie delight:)Lace and turquoise

I just can’t get enough of that dainty little turquoise piece, it is a great one to add a little pop of color without being too overpowering. I don’t know about you, but I love it when I find a necklace that I can wear everyday. Something beautiful yet simple. This piece from Rachael Ryen is just that. It consists of a single organic amazonite gemstone, and is edged in 22k gold plating. The necklace doesn’t over power my outfit, which is great since there is SO much going on in this one. One thing I really love about Rachael’s jewelry is that it isn’t costume jewelry, but it also doesn’t cost hundreds of dollars. She has done a great job creating quality pieces that won’t break the bank. In fact, I already have my eye on a few new pieces that I may be adding to my collection soon, including this ring, this necklace, and this bracelet:) Rachael is also offering 10% off to All That Glitters readers with promo code: “GLITTER”, so hurry on over!

Hope you all had a wonderful weekend, happy Monday!

Girlie And Bright

My easter dress

Hi Lovelies!

I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend and a Happy Easter if you celebrate it:) We spent Friday night in downtown with some friends and some drinks, Saturday involved a couple trips to Home Depot and a lot of packing, and Sunday we had some mimosas and realized that nothing is open on Easter. Yeah, next year we need to make sure that we go to the grocery store on Saturday and not wait until Sunday. We ended up having to go to Walmart and the steaks and corn on the cob we got were awful. Such a sad day.

Last week, I posted about some really cute Easter dresses I found online, but since we are in the middle of buying a house (Yes! More info soon!) we are trying to save money and a new dress was not in the cards for me. I have had this dress for a few years now, I got it back in the retail workin’ days, and it is still one of my favorites. It’s comfortable, it’s cute, and it’s so very girlie!

What did you wear this weekend? Outfit post? Link it up in the comments!
