12 Days Of Christmas Crafts Day 7: Curly Paper Christmas Tree

12 days of Christmas Crafts

Hi Lovelies!

Welcome to day 6 of Christmas crafts! It has been SUPER busy this past week and I have been writing 2-3 posts every day, so I am sorry if this is the only post today…the fashion will be back ASAP, I promise:) Today’s craft is really cute though, so I’m sure you will like it anyway! Enjoy!

Start with a foam cone, a pencil, straight pins, and some little scraps of scrapbook paper. I cut mine into equal pieces, but I’m sure it would look really cool if they were all different too….hell, maybe even better!

Twirl each little piece of paper around a pencil so that it curls up. I recommend a mechanical pencil, as the regular pencil I used originally gave them a weird shape with all the ridges.

Now, attach those little curly pieces of paper to the foam with a straight pin. Continue around the base and move upwards. Be sure to cover up the pins with the next layer up.

12 Days Of Christmas Crafts Day 6: Paper Ornaments

12 days of Christmas Crafts

Hi Lovelies!

Today’s Christmas craft is a paper ornament! I found these guys on Pinterest and thought they were absolutely ADORABLE! They make great party decor, or you can actually hang them on your Christmas tree!

To start get a 12×12 piece of card stock. Cut the card stock into 5 even strips, then line them up and staple the ends together. Christmas Paper Ornaments

Take a hole punch and directly below the staple make one hole. Now, take the middle 3 layers of paper and cut them about an inch or two down, depending on how wide you want your ornament to be, keeping in mind that the more you cut off the wider it will be. Then take the middle piece and cut it down an inch or two further.

Take the five ends and join them together, staple in place. Once your ornament is done you will string a piece of ribbon or rope through the hole you punched at the top. You can alternate colors or patterned papers as well if you want to get fancy!

Aren’t they just the sweetest?! Any questions about how to put them together? Let me know below!

12 Days Of Christmas Crafts Day 5: Paper Loop Christmas Tree

12 days of Christmas Crafts

Hi Lovelies!

Welcome to day 5 of Christmas crafts! This tree was another centerpiece at the holiday party on Friday. Isn’t it the cutest ever? You start with a styrofoam cone, 12×12 scrapbook paper, straight pins, and ribbon.

DIY Paper Loop Christmas Tree

Cut the 12×12 paper into 6 inch strips, you will fold each one in half and pin through both sides into the foam. Each layer should overlap the previous layer a little bit so that you can’t see the pins.

Isn’t the end result just adorable?!?

12 Days Of Christmas Crafts Day 4: Merry & Bright

12 days of Christmas Crafts

Hi Lovelies!

Welcome to day 3 of Christmas crafts! Today I am going to show you a pretty simple craft, but when displayed correctly it can be SO cute! I made this sign to go above the food at our Christmas party on Friday!

I started by cutting the green pieces of card stock into squares and rounding off the edges with scissors. I then printed the red letters from MS Word and cut them into squares a 1/2 an inch smaller than the green paper. I rounded out the corners with scissors and then glued the letters onto the green card stock. I used a 2 hole punch to make the holes in the top of each square and then strung the gold ribbon through them. When I taped the ribbon to the wall I placed the letters where they belonged and used tape to keep them in place on the ribbon. I then made these ornaments out of paper to decorate in the center. I will show you how to make these ornaments later on this week!

12 Days Of Christmas Crafts Day 3: Paper Circle Christmas Tree

12 days of Christmas Crafts

Hi Lovelies!

I know it’s a little bit late tonight, but here is the 3rd day of Christmas crafts! I love this paper Christmas tree and it was SO easy to make!

First you need the supplies shown below: Festive paper,  a styrofoam cone, straight pins, ribbon, and a giant hole punch. You will first need to cut the paper into circles using the giant hold punch.

Christmas Paper Crafts

Once you have all of your circles you will start at the bottom and pin each circle into the styrofoam. Overlap the circles in each row enough to cover the foam and overlap the rows enough to cover the pins in the layer below! When you get to the top tie a bow with the ribbon and pin it to the foam point!

Ta da! You have a beautiful paper craft Christmas tree! I used this for a centerpiece at our Holiday party last night and everyone loved them!
