Hi Lovelies!
Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend! I was up in the Dallas area for my nephew’s 4th birthday party. We all went to the fire house, learned about fire safety, and got a tour of the facilities. We even got to see the firefighters get dispatched to an emergency! The kids had a blast. The rest of the weekend was spent hanging out with my parents and then driving back down here to Austin. I did get a chance to take a few outfit photos while I was up there….this first one is casual, but still cute enough to wear out and about on the weekend:) Hope you all like!
Get The Look:
Shorts: Old Navy
Shirt: Target
Necklace: Vintage from my mother in law
Sunglasses: Charming Charlie
Sandals: Forever 21
I’m not really sure what drew me to these shorts at first…I just know that out of all the patterns they had I couldn’t stop coming back to these. They are so comfortable, and I love that they aren’t super tiny, booty shorts. I feel like it’s next to impossible to find shorts that aren’t super short anymore. When I finally found some, I knew I needed them:) I have worn them all summer, with pretty much every color imaginable…but I really love how they look with the chambray top!
Until tomorrow…

I was able to find not-too-short shorts at Banana Republic and J. Crew. They were pricey, but I was willing to wear them, unlike most of the other options I found, which were too short for my comfort. Maybe give those spots a try? J. Crew might have a bunch of their shorts on sale now.
Yeah, the Chino shorts are great, but they are so expensive! I got these babies for $20! I will definitely have to see if they are on sale now though! Thanks for the advice:)
You are always so well put together! Inspires me to attempt to match my band t-shirts with anything!
Well, thank you! Band t shirts are always fun layered with a cardigan:)
sweet little floral print!
I know! I loved it the moment I saw it:)
It’s no secret I’m obsessed with chambray, so I LOVE this outfit!
