Hi Lovelies!
Welcome to day 6 of Christmas crafts! It has been SUPER busy this past week and I have been writing 2-3 posts every day, so I am sorry if this is the only post today…the fashion will be back ASAP, I promise:) Today’s craft is really cute though, so I’m sure you will like it anyway! Enjoy!
Start with a foam cone, a pencil, straight pins, and some little scraps of scrapbook paper. I cut mine into equal pieces, but I’m sure it would look really cool if they were all different too….hell, maybe even better!
Twirl each little piece of paper around a pencil so that it curls up. I recommend a mechanical pencil, as the regular pencil I used originally gave them a weird shape with all the ridges.
Now, attach those little curly pieces of paper to the foam with a straight pin. Continue around the base and move upwards. Be sure to cover up the pins with the next layer up.
There you have it! I think this may be my favorite of the paper Christmas trees I have shown….what do you think? Any questions? Ask them below!
Until next time…
xox Megan

I love your crafts! I work with kids so these are great holiday crafts that take up some time how are you able to take such great close up pictures? I make crafts too, but my pictures don’t turn out so great! I just got a Canon Rebel and am still trying to learn how to work it
Thanks, Michelle! These would be great for kids, just make sure they aren’t too young with all of those pins! I use a Nikon D90 to take my photos. I take them in raw format and then brighten them a little bit in Photoshop since they are taken indoors!
Can I just send you the paper and you craft one for me? So cute!
Hahaha! I would love to:) You should try one, they are so easy!
That is so cute! What a great idea!
Thanks! It’s so easy to make too!
I have to agree that all the pics are great up close and the craft looks simple and cute.
Thank you! And, the crafts are very simple, easy to do with minimal supplies!
