To Infinity And Beyond

Hi Lovelies!

This little gold infinity necklace is my favorite. If I’m not wearing a statement necklace, I’m wearing this little baby. I got it at Charming Charlie for $6 last winter and I have pretty much worn it out since…it’s starting to change colors. I guess that’s what happens to a $6 necklace when you wear it every day…haha! I have definitely gotten my $6 worth though, so I guess I can’t complain. Maybe I’ll just have to ask for a real one from the hubby for Christmas:) <wink wink>

This sweater from Target is super soft. It kept me really warm the other day when the temperatures got lower than usual. I love versatile items that I can do a lot with, I could dress this up with some denim and high heel booties or even belted around a cute dress with some tights. You really just can’t go wrong when it comes to a patterned sweater…..especially in black and white.

Until tomorrow…

Houndstooth….I think?

Hi Lovelies!

I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend! And for those of you who are lucky enough to have Veteran’s day off today….LUCKY YOU! My hubby has the day off, but alas I do not. <tear> Well, I found this skirt at Target and I’m not quite sure what it is, but it reminds me of houndstooth.  Anyone have any clue what pattern this actually is?

Regardless of what it actually is, I love this pattern! I have had a real thing for black and white lately. I refused to wear black and white for the longest time after having to wear it every day at Charming Charlie, but I have been back on it again lately! Those Charming Charlie folks were right about black and white making the accessories pop….doesn’t the red look amazing with it?! Seriously though, please let me know if there is a name for this pattern other than houndstooth!

Until tomorrow…

A Dash Of Mint

Hi Lovelies!

I had a wonderfully relaxing weekend with the hubby and Chelsea. I got a little bit of shopping in, did a little work around the house, and we started working on making All That Glitters an even better place! The new site will be up and running soon, hopefully . Thank goodness for being married to a web developer who can do all of this web stuff so that I don’t have to:) Today’s outfit is one of my favorites. After working at Charming Charlie for over a year and only being able to wear black and white I have tried to steer away from black and white, but these pants are just too fun! I got them last spring at Old Navy and the fit is just wonderful for someone with curves! With all of the black and white, it seemed a little dark, so I went ahead and added a few pops of mint to give it a little color. Oh, and you can’t forget the FABULOUS bracelets that I found at Aldo on Saturday. I saw them and instantly knew that I needed them:)

If you are a little curvy, I would DEFINITELY recommend checking out these pants, they have all sorts of colors and patterns in the store (Only 2 online unfortunately). They are also super comfortable and just plain cute:)

How do you give a little oomph to a black and white outfit?

Until tomorrow…

Trend Alert: Peplum Top

Hello Ladies!

Today’s outfit includes one of my favorite trends: the peplum top. I love peplum tops for two reasons 1. They are so girlie, which is so very me and 2. They are so flattering. Tight at the top to show of your assets and loose right around the stomach, which is where most people have something to hide, haha!

Colored pants are great because you can do so many things to them and they always look just a little bit dressier than plain, old jeans:) Red and black are the colors today, hope you enjoy!

These are the MOST comfortable flats I own. They were buy one get one half off so I got a nude pair as well and I honestly wish I would have gotten more! Well, that is all for today! I hope you enjoyed!
