Color Crush: Navy And Cognac
Looking back at this outfit, I wish I would have worn a belt. Lol. Do you ever do that? Wear something and then look back at a picture of you in it and wish you had done it differently? I just feel like it’s too flowy and doesn’t give me any shape. I mean, it’s not horrible, but a belt would have helped to accentuate my waist. Oh well, you live and you learn right? I still love this top:) Get The Look:

Charming Charlie has done it again! This whole outfit, minus the denim, is from there and I love every bit of it! Even though I wish the top was a little more figure flattering, I really do like it…and it’s super comfy:) I have never really been one for blues in my fashion pieces, but blues and browns together are quickly becoming one of my new favorite fall color schemes. I wore it last week here and I’m pretty sure that’s when I fell in love. Or maybe it was when I first found this handbag in Charming Charlie. Either way, you can be sure I will be wearing much more of it in the near future:)
Those Limited Too Days Keep Coming Back To Haunt Me
I’ll try not to talk about my Limited Too days again for a whole post like I did last week, but this skirt reminds me of it. It reminds me of the first day of 5th grade pulling up to school in my plaid skort…man I was the coolest kid ever. Actually, I really wasn’t. I was the new kid in school and I was a big nerd to be totally honest. I might have looked amazing that first day of school, but don’t let my plaid skirt fool you. I owned lime green shorts that made it down to my knees and a penguin shirt I let my Mom make me wear. I also had these awesome London themed Doc Martins I wore with shorts and a LTD2 shirt. I won’t even make you imagine it, I’ll go right ahead and show you how it was….
Polka Dots And Plaid: Getting Brave With Pattern Mixing
Really y’all…I am getting SO brave with this pattern mixing thing, and this outfit makes me SO excited! I love the colors, I love the patterns, I love the red lips. I love this outfit. I have read so many posts about “rules” for pattern mixing. I’ve even written a few about “tips” for pattern mixing. I have to say, after this outfit, throw all of that out the window. If you like it, I say go for it:) That has really been my motto for the past few months. I am trying to get over the self conscious, “What do other people think?” that goes on it my brain, and just go for what I like and what makes me feel awesome. This one makes me feel awesome.

Buffalo Check For The Win
Old Navy has been ON it’s game lately! You know, there was a stage a while back where I was sick of Old Navy and everything was just too basic, but these last couple of seasons have been amazing! This dress! I first saw it on Shanna’s blog a few weeks ago and I bought it right then and there! I love how she styled hers with cowboy boots and a brown bag for a more casual look, but I decided to go with a more dressed up styling. I wore this to do a little shopping last weekend and I cannot tell you how many compliments I got on it. It is perfect for fall in Texas: plaid and short sleeved:) Get The Look:

I have been DYING to find a red plaid dress ever since this post last winter. I tried so hard last year to find one, but the dress in that post was sold out:( I am SO glad I finally found one, and I know it is months too soon for it but this is going to be my Christmas Eve dress! I’ll add some black tights and gold sparkly heels…maybe even a little green hair bow to bring in the “Christmas colors”? Done and done, only 3 months early!
