These are lessons I have learned in the past few months. Nothing personally has happened to me, but just browsing the internet, other blogs and articles I have found some of the most ugly , mean hearted people in the depths of the internet. All I know, is that seeing other people being nothing but negative and having way too much fun putting others down just makes me want to be a better person. I don’t understand those people who find pleasure in other people’s pain. Oh well, it just makes me realize that I have to have thick skin in this blogging business. Happy Friday! Rules? They’re More Like Guidelines Anyways

Hi Lovelies!

The end of summer is drawing near, so I decided it is time to get my white pant posts in while I can! Although, I have to say, I’m not a strong believer of the no white pants past labor day rule. Especially in Texas, it’s more like a fashion guideline….for those people in the north who actually have fall and winter. Haha!

Pardon the frizzy, awkward mess that it my hair in these photos, it was extremely humid and actually looked like it was going to rain! (It didn’t.) That’s why my hair is actually blowing in some of the photos! What a nice change from the stagnant, hot weather we usually have in August.

I found this peplum top at Target (yes, I realize I have a problem) just before the Texas Style Council at the beginning of August. I wore it to the Lulu’s clothing swap and got a ton of compliments! I like how it is shorter in the front and longer in the back (mullet top!) And we all know how I feel about teal and coral…..

Trend Alert: Peplum Top

Hello Ladies!

Today’s outfit includes one of my favorite trends: the peplum top. I love peplum tops for two reasons 1. They are so girlie, which is so very me and 2. They are so flattering. Tight at the top to show of your assets and loose right around the stomach, which is where most people have something to hide, haha!

Colored pants are great because you can do so many things to them and they always look just a little bit dressier than plain, old jeans:) Red and black are the colors today, hope you enjoy!
