Spring is here in Austin! Well…it was for a month and then it got back into the 50s and 60s again! Grrr! Well, you can call me crazy if you’re from the north, but 50s call for a scarf here in Texas! haha! I can’t complain because it’s supposed to be nice again for the rest of the week, but I had a little scare there on Monday when it was only 55 and super windy! I hope you all are having a wonderful week and remember, it’s Thursday already! Woohoo! I’ll be living it up this weekend…cleaning my house top to bottom and weeding our front yard. We have seriously got to hire someone to weed our yard for us on a regular basis! It is my least favorite thing to do and it gets out of control SO quickly! Haha! Oh well, I guess it’s up to me until we decide we want to pay someone an ungodly amount of $$$ to pull some weeds….not happening anytime soon. Oh well! Have a wonderful day!

When I bought this skirt at Old Navy back in September, I had about 10 outfits in my mind for it. This has been my favorite and I have already worn it multiple times. I wore it in London to walk around, on Thanksgiving for dinner with the family, and a few time just because! My favorite part is the mix of colors. Jewel tones go so well together and these are three of my favorites. This burgundy Rebecca Minkoff bag has been one of my best purchases! A Little Bit About London & Gold Glitter

This is an outfit I wore when we went out in London one night. I wanted to get some REALLY good Shepard’s pie since it’s my favorite, and what better place than London to find the best! Well, we looked it up online and found an article saying that The Ivy had one of the best, so we made a reservation. I have to say, it was REALLY good. If you like Shepard’s pie, I highly recommend. I also recommend getting a Strawberry Daiquiri here! It was a scoop of strawberry sorbet in the alcohol, one of the most interesting and delicious drinks I have ever had!

Well, anyways, this was the outfit I wore to the restaurant and I think it fit in well with the unique London styles they have going on over there! I brought a few pairs of my Kushyfoot tights to wear with all of my outfits since it does get much chillier than I am used to here in Austin. It worked out super well that I could still wear some skirts and stay warm at the same time. You’ve definitely heard me talk about Kushyfoot tights before if you’ve been around here long enough because I am a HUGE fan! They have so many different colors and textures, it makes switching up your wardrobe and extending the life of your clothes through different seasons so much easier! I highly recommend checking them out if you need to add some tights or socks to your fall and winter wardrobe!

I had such a great weekend in Dallas with my parents and my sister’s family for my little niece’s 3rd birthday. It just goes by way too quickly. You wait and wait for the day to come and then you blink, it’s over, and you’re driving home to Austin. <sigh> Sophie and I are STILL exhausted, so today’s post is going to be a little shorter than usual. I am actually super behind in posting this outfit. I wore it a few weekends ago and I love how everything goes together! I thought I would only wear this burgundy bag in the fall and winter, but I found an awesome way to wear it during the summer and that makes me happy! Have a wonderful Tuesday! See you next time!
