Holiday Party Attire
I feel like the moment November hits the rest of the year is a blur. It’s already December 3rd now and I am beyond busy! I’m in charge of the annual holiday party at work and I absolutely LOVE all the planning and decorating, but it can be so stressful! You want to make sure everything is perfect and that everyone is going to have a good time….no pressure! Lol! I have been planning and prepping for weeks now and almost all of the details are ready! (I’m pretty sure that’s just a nicer way of saying I’ve got a giant Pinterest board going…) The only thing I have to decide on now is the outfit! I have a bunch of different options as per usual and I probably won’t know what I will be wearing until 5 minutes before the party starts. This red and white outfit is one of my options. I love a little red at Christmas time and the winter white, chiffon skirt is one of my new favorites that I picked up on sale from Nordstrom Rack! Get The Look:

I’m sure my other outfit options will be showing up here sooner or later:) My favorite thus far involves a lot of gold and shimmer, but I’m not sure if it’s too much or not. Oh well, I’ll decide sooner or later! Stay tuned later this week for the 12 days of Christmas! Last year it was the 12 days of Christmas crafts, and this year it will be all things Christmas- recipes, crafts, and gifts! Get excited!
PS: You know how much I love Target and I want to tell everyone that they have free shipping on EVERYTHING right now! Clothing, shoes, and accessories are also BOGO 50% off!
Remixing Your Closet For Different Seasons
I said it yesterday and I will say it again, I love remixing my pieces into new outfits. One of the key things I look for in a new piece is color. Multicolored items have a much better chance in being remixed because there are more colors to match to. This skirt is wonderful because there are pops of pink, cobalt, yellow, mint, and orange in it. Any color sweater or top would look wonderful, as would most colored shoes. I love both of the ways I have styled it so far, but I would really like to wear a pink top with it next, maybe with a mint necklace? I think it would look fantastic with a darker chambray top and a hot pink necklace:) Oh the possibilities!

Bring On Spring
Hi Lovelies!
The weather is beautiful and I even though I have been breaking out the spring clothes on and off for a few weeks now, I think I can say that it is officially springtime in Texas! Woohoo! I found these wedges on Target’s website and knew that I had to have some new ones for this summer. I am so glad I bought them, because they go with everything! I love that gold bar down the center….gives it a little extra something something:) This skirt was a part of my birthday outfit last summer and the weather just seemed perfect for bringing out an old summer favorite:)

I usually go home for lunch so that I can spend less money on food and a little extra time with my puppy. I actually had the chance to sit in the sun and get a tan started while I was lunching yesterday, I was so excited! I sat on the back patio book in hand, puppy on lap, straps down, and sunglasses up just catchin’ some rays. I hope for your sake it’s warm where you are too! If not, come on down to Austin, it’s beautiful!
