Isn’t it beautiful? I was in Target and there was only 1 left…talk about meant to be!?! I would have to say so! I have SUCH a thing for leopard print (and not just this season, forever) and mustard….well we all know how I feel about mustard!

I’m not sure if you can tell too well in the photos, but this top has tiny gold dots all over it. Tiny, glittery little dots and a Peter Pan collar, what more could a girl want? This is pretty much my new favorite outfit. So much so, that I have worn it 3 times already! This was my outfit for 2 of the Broadway shows we saw in New York City….and I may or may not have worn it again yesterday to work:)

Did you get anything from the Phillip Lim For Target Collection? How did you style it?

Until tomorrow…

Color Crush: Mustard and Cobalt

Hi Lovelies!

I hope you all had as wonderful of a weekend as I did. We did lots of grilling, lots of organizing, more grilling, a little hangin’ out with friends, a little game playing, a little more grilling, some sunbathing, and even a little swimming. It was a blast! If you would like more detail you can head on over to my Instagram account and see there…although I didn’t do a very good job documenting all of the fun until Monday. Oh well…it’s the best I could do:)

Today, we are here to talk about something that is a HUGE problem in my life. Target. Now, by problem I mean that they cannot stop making amazing clothes! I can’t deny, I saw this skirt on Bethany‘s Instagram (Perfectly Coutured) and just about died….I HAD to have it. It has the perfect amount of class, with a little bit of fun all in one! So, obviously, I went to Target ASAP and picked it up….along with a leopard one, a blazer, this mustard cardigan, and a few other small things. Like I said, it is a HUGE problem in my life. Thankfully, this skirt was only $22….may I say once again that I LOVE Target?

Well, with all of that being said, it is a new month…and I am on a spending freeze. I have bought far too much this summer and it is time to wear all of the glorious things that I already have in my closet a few times before I buy anything else:) Wish me luck with this one…I will need it!

Until tomorrow…

Rules? They’re More Like Guidelines Anyways

Hi Lovelies!

The end of summer is drawing near, so I decided it is time to get my white pant posts in while I can! Although, I have to say, I’m not a strong believer of the no white pants past labor day rule. Especially in Texas, it’s more like a fashion guideline….for those people in the north who actually have fall and winter. Haha!

Pardon the frizzy, awkward mess that it my hair in these photos, it was extremely humid and actually looked like it was going to rain! (It didn’t.) That’s why my hair is actually blowing in some of the photos! What a nice change from the stagnant, hot weather we usually have in August.

I found this peplum top at Target (yes, I realize I have a problem) just before the Texas Style Council at the beginning of August. I wore it to the Lulu’s clothing swap and got a ton of compliments! I like how it is shorter in the front and longer in the back (mullet top!) And we all know how I feel about teal and coral…..

Well, there you go! Now, I need to think of some cute fall ways to style my white skinnies once labor day rolls past!

How would you bring white pants in to fall?

Plain and Simple: All Dressed Up

Hi Lovelies!

You might remember this dress from a few weeks ago here. In that post I dressed it very simply, with just a belt and a gold chain necklace. This time, I tried to dress it up a bit with my new favorite piece, my Target blazer. I found this blazer yesterday and I am in love. I have been looking for a cute one that fits correctly, but also doesn’t cost $80. Well, here you have it, $35 and just as cute as can be! I am beyond excited to wear this baby all fall/winter long, and I’m sure I will style it on here at least a million more times! You should definitely head on over to Target, they have several colors and even a plaid one and a polka dot one!

A Little Bit Austin

Hi Lovelies!

You know, I was very self conscious about posting this outfit. It was hanging in my closet for a week and a half before I actually put it on and took the camera out. I think it was because of the tight fitting dress, I didn’t feel 100% comfortable showing it all off like that. Lol. Well, here’s to stepping out of my comfort zone! This outfit makes me feel very Austin, the chambray and boots definitely give it a little bit of a hipster vibe. It is also super comfy and I LOVE comfy. I got the dress at H&M for $10, which I just couldn’t pass up. I also got it in teal which I’m sure will show up later on:)
