Happy 4th of July week!
July 4th is my 2nd favorite holiday, right there behind Christmas. Usually on the 4th of July our family has a reunion at my grandparent’s lake house in Northern Michigan. This lake house is my favorite place in the world to be. It is where I have spent every summer since my birth. It is where my cousins and sisters turned in to my friends. It is where my best friend proposed to me at sunset on July 1, 2011.
Unfortunately, due to Wes and I getting new jobs, we are unable to go this year and every time I think about it, it breaks my heart a little bit:( This is my beautiful lake:
