Hi Lovelies!
This past weekend my cousin and I drove up to Dallas for my little niece’s 2nd birthday party. It was mermaid themed. Can we talk about the coolest theme ever? Back in my day you didn’t have themes. We had napkins that said Happy Birthday with basic balloons on them and Justin Timberlake cakes. True story. I had Justin Timberlake’s face on my 12th birthday cake. He didn’t taste nearly as good as I was hoping he would. But, anyways, this was probably the cutest, girliest theme ever and I am totally jealous. My sister is SUPER creative, and I really wish I could be like her. I have all these plans for creative, crafty things I can do and then they just never happen. And by plans, I really mean I have a Pinterest board called “crafty crafty”. At least I’m sort of good with words…and pinning…
Here you have $60 worth of icing. Let me tell you, that $60 icing is delightful.
Crab sandwiches are probably the cutest idea ever. Just make your croissant sandwiches and stick googly eyes glued to toothpicks in them! Easy as pie!
Here is the birthday girl, Annie. My precious little nugget:)
Those jellyfish hanging from the ceiling are probably my favorite part.
Seashells made out of chocolate. Handmade. Yeah, I know…I don’t know how she finds the time with 3 little ones under the age of 4. The girl is superwoman I tell ya!
Anniston loved her party, and her cake….but mostly the cake.
I know this isn’t a Mom blog, but I know tons of you wonderful ladies out there have little ones and I figured I would give you all an awesome birthday idea for your little girls! So, go ahead…start a Pinterest board…pin your little hearts out. I will be over here just trying not to feel bad that this party is way cooler than any party I will ever throw since my Pinterest boards never actually come to life….<sigh>
