I Love My Hubby

Hi Lovelies!

Three years ago to the day my high school sweetheart, Wes, got down on one knee and asked me to be his wife. I cannot even to begin to explain how happy he made me that day. I had been in love with Wes since we were 16 years old, and we had been dating on and off for 8 years. Wes knows me better than anyone else in this world, and he gave me my dream proposal without ever knowing what it was. Crazy, right? My grandparents live on a lake in northern Michigan during the summer months, and since I was a baby we have been going up each summer. This is my favorite place in the entire world to be. My dream was to start taking some pictures of us on the dock at sunset (my cousin took them) and then in the middle of them, he would get down on one knee and propose. All of my favorite things rolled in to one: Sunsets, the lake, photos, and Wes:) Well, I had only told my cousin and my best friend about my dream (both of whom SWEAR on their lives that they didn’t tell)…and he read my mind! The picture above is from the actual proposal when I finally realized what was going on. Below was just after he put the ring on my finger…which, by the way, I was terrified we were going to drop into the water off the dock.
