It’s Dress Time Again!

Good row clothing- dress

Now, I don’t want to jinx anything at all…but the weather has been absolutely gorgeous here in Austin lately. Perfect temperature and perfectly sunshiney…who could ask for anything more? Warmer wetaher obviously calls for dresses and sandals. I’m sorry…I don’t care if it is January or August, if it is warm enough, you will see me in a dress. When Good Row asked me to style a piece from their site, I jumped right on this one! I have had my eye on it and I just LOVE the colors! Not to mention it is SUPER soft! They have some super cute stuff up in the shop right now, including this floral maxi that I am DYING over…and it’s only $44.50! Throw on a floppy hat with that one and you would look adorable at a summer wedding…just sayin’!;-)Floral midi dress-Good row Floral dress with Kendra Scott Floral bodycon dress Good row clothing company Tory Burch crossbody Floral dress from good row Black Floral dress for spring Black floral dress from Good RowDress c/o Good Row Clothing  //  Tory Burch Crossbody  //  Kendra Scott Rayne Necklace & Morgan Studs  //  Sandals- Steinmart $19.99 Jack Rogers look-a-likes (you’re welcome!)  //  Charming Charlie Bracelet & Sunglasses  //  Swell Caroline Jackie/Audret/Gatsby Bangle

This dress is definitely on my go to list for brunch wear, especially as the weather starts to get warmer here in Austin. It’s perfect for waiting outside on South Congress, yet it still has sleeves so that when I go inside to the air conditioning I don’t freeze myself to death! Oh the joys of living in a warm climate…<sigh> I hope you all have a wonderful Valentine’s weekend! Be safe and be sure to keep up on Instagram and let me know what fun things you guys are doing!

Polka Dots & Pink

I have worn this outfit multiple times since I got this polka dot top in November and I LOVE it. I saw a picture on Pinterest that had a polka dot button down and a magenta sweater and I KNEW that was how I was going to style it. I searched for a pink sweater for a while before I found this one at Target. It’s perfect! Who doesn’t love black, white, and pink together?! That’s what I thought! These photos are from a few weeks ago before I trimmed my hair, but I haven’t had a ton of time to post them. Here I am though! Miss me? :)

Again, I am in love with this outfit, and am so happy that SheIn contacted me and offered to have me style a piece of theirs!  It took a week or so to get the top, but once I received it, it was definitely worth it. It’s not a cheap, thin material and actually has some substance to it unlike some chiffon type tops I’ve found. I will be ordering some more items for spring soon, including this dress I’ve had my eye on!

Tights Are My Winter Savior

What to wear to work- Black lace midi dress with black blazerYou guys…I am ALL about the dresses. Pants are probably my least favorite clothing item and I hate them. Dresses and skirts are the most comfortable items in a girl’s closet, in my opinion, and I am not about to say goodbye to them just because it’s getting colder outside. Oh no. Tights. Tights are where it is at! I have pretty much every color tights you can imagine in my closet and I wear them ALL THE TIME during the winter. Layered with some cute boot cuffs and boots is my favorite way….or you can go simple like my outfit today!

Shop Lace Dresses:
I got these tights from Kushyfoot, and they are awesome. First, I love that they don’t go all the way up my torso to my bra. Those “control top” ones just make me claustrophobic. Second, they don’t cut in to your sides. No one likes that weird line where your tights cut into your side skin and make you look like you have an awkward roll. Now, maybe I just never have bought the right kind before now….but these tights don’t do that, it’s awesome!
I love that because of tights, I am going to be able to wear this dress through any weather. It’s got to be one of my all time favorite dresses and I don’t wear it nearly as often as I should. When there isn’t a blazer covering me from the winds you can see the shape of it a little better and it almost reminds me of a 50’s housewife dress. It curves in all the right places and really shows off your shape:) Love. I did get these tights for free from Kushyfoot, but I can honestly say that I would buy them regardless. They are comfortable and they are well priced. You can get a three pack for $20.97, and let’s be honest…I am not the most delicate little flower ever and ruin tights at least once per season. Ruin one? Have two more left…ha!All That Glitters Blog Signature

The Shopping Bag

Aztec print tunic and leggings

This weekend was a leggings and boots type of weekend. It was cold and dreary and I just wanted to cuddle up and watch movies the entire time. Fortunately, I did get to do a little laying around, but let’s be realistic I’m an adult and adults have s*** to do on the weekends. So, to make it all a little more bearable leggings it was…all weekend long.

When The Shopping bag contacted me to collaborate I picked out this tunic because there is NOTHING I love more than bright colors in the winter time.  It’s super comfy and I absolutely LOVE that it’s long enough to wear with leggings and cover my tush. Always remember: leggings are not pants! Cover your butt! I say that with the most amount of love possible! :)

The Shopping Bag has some SUPER cute clothes and I’ve already begun a shopping list for myself (duh!) including this maxi dress…how amazing is the back of that thing? The best part? Kendra Obsessed

I have a not so new obsession, and her name is Kendra. Maybe it’s because she lives in Austin and I am super in to helping out local Austinites, but I just love all of her stuff. I have the Rayne necklace and Morgan earrings in the magenta color, and it is by far my favorite color. You should definitely check her out and go to the Kendra Scott store on South Congress if you are ever in Austin! Happy Saturday! All That Glitters Blog Signature
