Plaid isn’t going anywhere soon and I am SO thankful for that! I have been wearing so much of it (like here, here, and here) and with this bitter cold weather we have had for the past few days I have been bundling up in my plaid blanket scarf A LOT! I’ve found a bunch of plaid options for you that are all under $50…which you know makes me smile:) You can find pretty much anything in plaid these days, even blankets (yes, real ones), which I may need to invest in for my couch this Christmas! I’m really crushing on those plaid loafers and they are just like the J Crew ones, but a fraction of the price (try 1/3!). Hail to Nordstrom Rack! What’s your favorite plaid item?

My October Favorites
My oh my, I cannot believe that it is November already. I’m pretty sure I say that at the beginning of every month week. It’s just crazy to me how fast the time is going by. Before you know it, it will be December 24th and Christmas will be here! Although, going in to stores this weekend, you would think Christmas was tomorrow! The Christmas decorations are out and in full force, I can’t believe some stores didn’t even wait until Halloween was over. I won’t lie to you though, I already have a list of great Christmas crafts I’m going to get on pretty soon for my 12 days of Christmas crafts posts in December. But, let’s not get ahead of ourselves here, it’s still November 3rd. So, in honor of Halloween month officially being over, I will leave you with my favorite outfits for the month of October. Enjoy!

Pink and Navy Plaid
Happy Friday! The weekend has come again and I have big plans for mine! Wes and I will be working on some fun house stuff this weekend (post about it to come) and I am super pumped. Ever since moving in to our house in May I have been brainstorming fun ideas for ways to upgrade and update it and this weekend I’m going to make one of those things happen! Woohoo! Anyone else out there have big plans? Get The Look:

Shop Plaid:
This scarf is one of my new favorites! Plaid is really big this season and I love these colors together. You don’t see much navy and pink, most of the plaid around right now is red (which I love too, lol). Have you bought anything plaid for the fall?

Jewel Tones And A Little Plaid
Hi Lovelies!
It has been chilly here in Texas for the past few days, and I have been taking that weather as a chance to wear all of my fall/winter clothing before it gets warm again. I have to say though, as much as I love warm weather style I am so ready for spring. I know, I know, we have had some really nice weather here too…in fact it’s supposed to be in the high 60’s today and the high 70’s again this weekend too:) Woohoo! Look forward to some sunny spring outfits on the blog next week!

You may remember this dress from this post where I wore it pretty simply with nude flats and some gold jewelery. I decided to dress it a little more casually today with some mustard tights and my favorite boots. Tights really are one of my favorite ways to change up the look of a dress and I love the mix of the jewel tones here!
By the way, totally off topic, but I would highly recommend going to your local Charming Charlie and finding this watch. I have gotten more compliments on it than probably any other jewelery item I own.
What’s your go to piece that always gets tons of compliments?
Friday Dealz: All About The Accessories
Hi Lovelies!
Today’s deals are all about accessorizing! If you know me, you know I LOVE my accessories. You also know I love a good deal….and you can’t beat accessories under $16!
This watch has got to be my favorite thing on Groopdealz right now. The only thing I don’t like is that I have to choose between mint chevron and gold polka dots! Maybe a little bit of both? Please?!
Chevron and Polka Dot Boyfriend Watches– $15.99
How cute is this scarf? I love the button closure on it….that will for sure keep it from coming undone and exposing your neck in those -13 temperatures that are sprouting up across the country! It’s already 65 degrees here in Texas, so I’m going to need to do some scheming to find a reason that I need this baby:)
Merino Wool Scarves– $12.00
So cute. That’s really all that I have to say….but I’ll say more:) These would look so cute peeking out of my camel colored boots! I already have some just like the cream ones, so I’m leaning more toward teal. A pop of color, anyone?
This post is sponsored by Groopdealz. All opinions are 100% my own…I would never endorse something I didn’t love myself:)
Cable Knit Lace Socks– $7.99
