Hi Lovelies!
Don’t mind me, I’ll just be hanging out here in Austin with my spring dresses and 85 degree weather!:) I’ll try not to rub it in too much…….I’ll try. This nautical-esque dress has been one of my favorites ever since I bought it at Charming Charlie last year. Well, dresses in general are my favorite, and now that it isn’t freezing here, you can expect to see a LOT more of them:)
I get asked all the time why I’m so “dressed up” when I wear a dress, and that’s one thing I’ll never understand. Putting on a dress is so much easier than picking out an entire outfit and they’re so much more comfortable than pants! I hate pants and I don’t hate many things…but pants are one of those things. They’re restrictive and you just can’t move in them. The moment I come home, pants are gone. I just don’t understand why people don’t wear dresses ALL the time….pretty sure I was born in the wrong era. <sigh> What I wouldn’t give to have a world where dresses were the every day norm again.

This dress was in one of my first outfit posts way back last April. I paired it with some cowboy boots, a brown bow handbag and some turquoise beads. That’s one of the great things about it, there are so many ways to style it to make it a completely new outfit!
I am with you girl on the loving to wear dresses thing! I can’t wait til winter is over so I can wear them again!

I totally agree with you! I love just throwing on a cute, lightweight dress and maybe a cute necklace, maybe. And I’m good to go!
It’s just so much easier and SO much more comfortable! I don’t get why more people don’t wear dresses all the time!
