Mustard & Teal

Fall felt hat with jewel tone outft

When I bought this skirt at Old Navy back in September, I had about 10 outfits in my mind for it. This has been my favorite and I have already worn it multiple times. I wore it in London to walk around, on Thanksgiving for dinner with the family, and a few time just because! My favorite part is the mix of colors. Jewel tones go so well together and these are three of my favorites. This burgundy Rebecca Minkoff bag has been one of my best purchases! I was so worried that the burgundy would make it less likely to be worn, but it has been quite the opposite and I wear it all the time!Mustard and teal outfit for fall Mustard Old Navy Skirt with Teal top Jewel tones for fall Teal and Mustard fall outfit Mustard, teal, and burgundy

A Little Bit About London & Gold Glitter

Black and gold with burgundy

This is an outfit I wore when we went out in London one night. I wanted to get some REALLY good Shepard’s pie since it’s my favorite, and what better place than London to find the best! Well, we looked it up online and found an article saying that The Ivy had one of the best, so we made a reservation. I have to say, it was REALLY good. If you like Shepard’s pie, I highly recommend. I also recommend getting a Strawberry Daiquiri here! It was a scoop of strawberry sorbet in the alcohol, one of the most interesting and delicious drinks I have ever had!

Well, anyways, this was the outfit I wore to the restaurant and I think it fit in well with the unique London styles they have going on over there! I brought a few pairs of my Kushyfoot tights to wear with all of my outfits since it does get much chillier than I am used to here in Austin. It worked out super well that I could still wear some skirts and stay warm at the same time. You’ve definitely heard me talk about Kushyfoot tights before if you’ve been around here long enough because I am a HUGE fan! They have so many different colors and textures, it makes switching up your wardrobe and extending the life of your clothes through different seasons so much easier! I highly recommend checking them out if you need to add some tights or socks to your fall and winter wardrobe!

Hope you are all having a fantastic weekend! Stay warm out there!

Burgundy & Black For Fall

Plaid shirt with a skirt

It’s been a while! I’ve been super busy with life and haven’t had too much time to get to the blog lately! I did, however, want to share with you one of my favorite fall outfits! Hats are always a great way to add a little something to your outfit, and fall hats are a favorite of mine! I really wanted a burgundy hat since it’s one of my favorite fall colors, so when I was offered this one by the Brooklyn Hat Company I was psyched. (Yes, I just used the word “psyched”…lol) This whole outfit feels so put together and is great for a date night out or a day of shopping with the girls.

I know this is one of my favorite times of the year to dress for. Not too many layers too look bulky, but just enough to create a unique style!

WIWW: Fall T-Shirt Dress

Teal and Pink Long Sleeved Dress

I ordered this dress before we left for Europe and had to wait the entirety of our trip knowing that it was sitting on my desk waiting for me at work.  I loved it when I saw it online on Zulily, but I love it even more in person. It’s a comfy cotton material and when you throw on that belt it shows off the good and hides the bad. It’s amazing! It isn’t on the site right now, but here is a similar one from the same brand. (Brand is “Buy In America” if you are curious!)

I know I’ve been a little MIA lately, there has been a lot going on in my life. It feels good to be taking style photos again and I hope to keep it up! I woke up early, grabbed a coffee, and went to the park to take these. I’ll be back later this week to share a great breakfast recipe I just discovered as well as a bit of yoga for Fit Friday! See you all then!

Oh, Paris

Burgundy and mustard

It has been a while since I’ve done an outfit post on here, and I will be giving you a life update VERY soon to explain why…but today…let’s have a look at Paris. We spent 4 wonderful days in Paris last month and I can tell you that it is every bit as amazing as you would think it is. Every single street your turn down their is another beautiful building or monument to gaze at. <sigh> I had this outfit in my mind from the moment we decided our European extravaganza was going to be in the fall. I had been wanting a mustard skirt last fall and never bought one, so when I found this one on ASOS I checked out almost immediately. It was a purchase a year in the making, lol! I really would have loved to have worn it with my nude bow pumps, but lets be honest….heels and traveling just don’t mix. (Yeah, all of those bloggers who wear high heels in their photos in front of the Eiffel Tower are liars…lol!)ASOS Mustard Scalloped skirt Mustard Skirt for fall Mustard and Burgundy with gold Burgundy Top How to style mustard Scalloped Mustard SkirtGet The Look:

I tried to go for a fall colored theme in all of my clothing on the trip. I packed items in a certain color scheme so that I could mix and match my items and get the most out of my suitcase space! I have to say that it worked out SUPER well and I’ll have to work on a post with my packing tips soon! Hope you all are having a wonderful week and I’ll see you all tomorrow for Fit Friday!
