Neon Pink Maxi Dress

I am having vacation withdrawals! Wes and I were in Michigan this past weekend having fun on the lake, celebrating my sister’s wedding, and visiting with family. Going up north to the lake is something I look forward to every year, and it always goes by MUCH too quickly. I’ll be sure to post photos a little later on in the week since Wes and I were the official wedding photographers and all:) It was a great weekend and I will be in a post-vacation depression for the next week or so:(

I found this dress at a flea market up by my parents house in the Dallas area. This cute little Texas Boutique had a whole bunch of dresses on sale and I got this one for only $10! It’s super fun for summer time because it’s so bright, but you could also throw on a black cardigan and maybe a little black Kendra Scott for a more toned down fall/winter look!

The photos were taken at Bull Creek. I took some here last year, but with all of this rain it looks drastically different down there now. So much more water! It’s a great place to go for a hike or for a swim in the areas with less rapids. Looks of awesome nature as well, as you can see by the cool bird photo:) Hope you are all having a wonderful week after the 4th of July. Let’s get this one over with and get to next weekend already! Seersucker And Red Lips

Holiday weekends are my favorite! I love that feeling on Sunday when you remember that you have an entire extra day to do what you want. I started a huge project this weekend that I am SUPER pumped about. I am building my very own dream closet, and I spent all weekend planning and beginning it all. I have been Pinteresting amazing closets for a while and put together everything I loved from each of them to make the perfect closet for me. Today’s outfit is casual and versatile, two of the best qualities of an outfit in my opinion. I wore this for our family pictures up in Michigan back in July, but I also wore it for a little stroll in the greenbelt followed by a trip to Central Market. These shorts are super comfy, but I wish I would have gotten one size down because they do stretch out a lot. PS: Can we talk about how a red lip makes any outfit look fabulous? This outfit would be so-so without those lips, but that pop of color ties in with the red accessories and dresses up the casual a little bit.

County Line On The Hill

Hi Lovelies!

I have been so sneaky! Lol…I was just on vacation in Michigan with the family for 11 days! There are creepers on the internet, so the last thing I wanted to do was let everyone and their mother know that I was going to be gone for a week and a half. So, I worked my little patootie off the few weeks before I left to get content together and scheduled…that way I wouldn’t have to work at all while I was vacationing on the lake:) So, expect to see some awesome posts with lake backgrounds and wonderful people over the next few weeks…and as for today, I don’t have a ton for you since it is my last day off. These are pictures from County Line on the Hill, a BBQ restaurant down here in Austin. We took my cousin, Nicolle, here a few weeks ago because it is just SO beautiful AND their food is wonderful! I highly recommend if you are ever in the Austin area!

I’m off for the day to get a million things done around the house and get myself unpacked before I head back to work tomorrow!

Paddle Boarding In ATX

Hi Lovelies!

I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend! We sure did. Nicolle, Wes, and I rented paddle boards from The Rowing Dock and went out on Town Lake Saturday morning. It was such a blast! Wes and I have been a lot over the past few years, but Nicolle had never been. The weather was spectacular. There was just enough cloud cover that we were never in the sun for too long of a time. There was also a nice breeze, which was amazing in terms of temperature. It was not so amazing, however, for paddling back to the dock. We were going against the wind the entire way back and it was rough to say the least. If you have never been paddle boarding, I highly recommend it. It’s a great core and arm work out!
