Burgundy & Black For Fall

It’s been a while! I’ve been super busy with life and haven’t had too much time to get to the blog lately! I did, however, want to share with you one of my favorite fall outfits! Hats are always a great way to add a little something to your outfit, and fall hats are a favorite of mine! I really wanted a burgundy hat since it’s one of my favorite fall colors, so when I was offered this one by the Brooklyn Hat Company I was psyched. (Yes, I just used the word “psyched”…lol) This whole outfit feels so put together and is great for a date night out or a day of shopping with the girls.

These pumps are some of my favorite fall heels and they match PERFECTLY with this hat! Adding a little pop of color to both the top and bottom of this outfit really sets it off:) I hope you all are having  fantastic fall and are getting some enjoyment out of your favorite fall trends! I know this is one of my favorite times of the year to dress for. Not too many layers too look bulky, but just enough to create a unique style!

Feeling Like Jackie

Pale pink and black outfit inspirationI love the classy look of a midi skirt, it makes me feel very Jackie O. To make it even better, this one was a steal. Who can beat a skirt that actually looks and feels nice for under $20? I mentioned this skirt last week in this post, but that was before I had received it and I really couldn’t speak to the wonders of it. I LOVE it. Pale pink is one of my favorite colors to take into the fall and winter with me. In the spring, you would pair it with white, but you can pair it with black or grey instead to give it an edgier, colder weather look. This skirt would look amazing with a black blazer and some black tights for work, or a grey t-shirt with some chevron keds to dress it down a bit.

I can’t wait until Christmas time! I think this skirt would be the PERFECT Christmas party outfit! Add a crystal statement necklace to the black top, or even a black faux fur scarf? Eeek, I’m so excited already and it’s only October!

Black & White Bows

Hi Lovelies!

I don’t know if you have all met Hayley from A Beautiful Exchange  or Lauren from The Albrecht’s Blog, but they are starting an awesome new link up in order to get to know other bloggers! The outfit pictures below will have to suffice for the photo of me:) Anyways, here goes nothing…3 things that I love about myself:

1. For lack of a better word, my guts– I have decided to do this crazy thing called blogging. I think that takes some major guts. I am putting myself out there for the entire world to see and judge and I’m okay with that. At the beginning I was really self-conscious and didn’t want people that I know to see my blog….then finally I just embraced it and let go of all those negative feelings. If people are going to judge me negatively for my blog then I don’t need them anyways:) And 90% of the people who see it don’t know me in real life anyways, so who cares if they judge.

2. My ability to love– I’ve got a whole lot of love to give. If you are special to me, you can guarantee that I will love you with everything I have. A lot of people don’t really even have the ability to love, at least not as strongly as others. Sometimes this trait ends up hurting me, but in the end getting love from people in return is worth the pain others give.

3. This one is going to be the superficial one…lol…my hair– I’m pretty sure I am the only woman on the planet who doesn’t hate her hair. I like the color, the texture, that it will pretty much do anything I want…and I love that it grows like a weed:)
