Happy 4th Birthday, Sophers!

I can’t believe that it has been almost 4 years since we brought home that 2lb little ball of love! Look how adorable she is! I just don’t understand people who don’t have a dog, we would be so lonely without our little nugget face. Today was spent showering little Sophie in love. She got some special treats and dental bones, had a little play time, and had snuggle time on the couch with Momma. I would say, for a pup, that’s a pretty great day! Happy Birthday, Little Miss Sophie! We love you so much!

Hi Lovelies!

My sweet little munchkin and I have been spending a lot of time outside this spring/summer. She likes to come with me when I take my outfit pictures and lay around in the sun waiting for her time in the spotlight. Yeah, just kidding, she hates having her picture taken…she purposely looks away and rolls over so that I can’t get a good shot. I just have to wait until she is good and tired and doesn’t feel like being difficult, then I snap a few good ones:) Enjoy my baby girl, she’s probably the cutest thing you’ll see all day:)

Oops, I Did It Again

Hi Lovelies!

It’s Tuesday morning, and I am lying here in my bed with little Miss. Sophernugget. Oh my goodness am I sick. I don’t know what spurred it on, but I have caught a bug and a nasty one at that. I will spare you the details, but instead leave you with some adorable pictures. Remember that post a while back where my outfit photos turned in to a photo shoot for Sophie? Yeah, well, it happened again….LOL!

My little princess is being such a doll and laying here with me while I feel badly…don’t you wish you had a little snuggle bug that looked like that up there? Yeah, I know…I am obsessed. Well, back to sleep for me…let’s hope this goes away quickly!

One Year Ago

Hi Lovelies!

Exactly one year ago today I posted my very first post on All That Glitters. Now, I don’t count this as my first anniversary since I didn’t actually continue blogging much afterward until about June…but it is definitely something I want to celebrate:) That post, which is right here in case you were interested, tells a little about me and my little life here in Austin, TX. It also has a lot of really bad formatting…lol! Talk about hard to read! Well, I decided that since there are a couple new people around these parts since that post one year ago I would give you another glimpse into my life, maybe this time it won’t be quite as awful as that first one. So, here is a little list of firsts in my life…

My first picture ever. I had surgery the day I was born, hence the big bandage.

My first birthday. I was a messy kid and I loved cake. What can I say, some things never change.

My first bike. I was obsessed with it and my doll…I look as though I may pull my little dolly’s hair out pretty soon though…

My first day of school. This was over in England, and I’m pretty sure I was the cutest little British kid ever.

My first time being awesome. I clearly had the blogger hand on the hip pose down pat at a very young age…

My first picture with the hubby. We were the ripe old age of 16 seeing a movie with some friends:)

My first (and only) baby, Sophie. If you haven’t met Sophie yet, then you haven’t been hanging around enough! She is my little love bug and has the cutest face ever:)

My first look at the man I am spending the rest of my life with on our wedding day.

So here we are twelve months and a few hundred followers later here we are. Speaking of that, I don’t know where all of you people came from, but thank you so much for showing up here when you do:) I appreciate it more than you will ever know! Hope you enjoyed my little list of firsts!

Hey Jealousy

Hi Lovelies!

Okay, okay…you caught me! As much as I am super glad I don’t live in the north, and as much as I don’t miss snow…I am a little tiny bit jealous that no one has to work today. Although, I’m sure if I had to take the Sophers for a walk in -12 temps I would be singing a WHOLE different tune. The grass is always greener….

Speaking of jealousy….this is the part where you get to be extremely jealous that I own the most adorable coat ever! I got it last winter at Target and it is my all time favorite. It’s frilly, it’s girlie, it’s warm, and it’s black! <swoon> All of my favorite features of winter fashion. To be honest, it was far too cold outside to take it off, so you don’t even get to see what’s underneath lol. We will leave that outfit for another day:)

Sophie is just the best accessory/prop ever. She sits well, she wants to be held, and she gives spontaneous kisses. What more could I ask for?
