Oops, I Did It Again

Hi Lovelies!

It’s Tuesday morning, and I am lying here in my bed with little Miss. Sophernugget. Oh my goodness am I sick. I don’t know what spurred it on, but I have caught a bug and a nasty one at that. I will spare you the details, but instead leave you with some adorable pictures. Remember that post a while back where my outfit photos turned in to a photo shoot for Sophie? Yeah, well, it happened again….LOL!

My little princess is being such a doll and laying here with me while I feel badly…don’t you wish you had a little snuggle bug that looked like that up there? Yeah, I know…I am obsessed. Well, back to sleep for me…let’s hope this goes away quickly!

Happy Monday: A Weekend Recap

Hi Lovelies!

I hope everyone had a fantastic weekend! Mine was filled with some DIY fun at home, birthday partying it up with a friend, and a very scenic hike through the Milton Reimer’s Ranch Park in Dripping Springs. It was an absolutely beautiful weekend over 75 and sunny the whole time….<sigh> Well, Sunday was the big hiking day, and we accidentally found this awesome park on the Pedernales river right next to Hamilton Pool State Park. We were going to go to Hamilton Pool, but they wouldn’t let Miss. Sophie in and we had to bring her because the owners of our house are selling and there was an open house…blah! I have to say though, it was JUST as awesome and we had a blast with our friends just hiking around and laying in the sun:) Wes took some fabulous pictures too, check ’em out!

To be honest, the pictures don’t even do it justice….it was so beautiful!

Hey Jealousy

Hi Lovelies!

Okay, okay…you caught me! As much as I am super glad I don’t live in the north, and as much as I don’t miss snow…I am a little tiny bit jealous that no one has to work today. Although, I’m sure if I had to take the Sophers for a walk in -12 temps I would be singing a WHOLE different tune. The grass is always greener….

Speaking of jealousy….this is the part where you get to be extremely jealous that I own the most adorable coat ever! I got it last winter at Target and it is my all time favorite. It’s frilly, it’s girlie, it’s warm, and it’s black! <swoon> All of my favorite features of winter fashion. To be honest, it was far too cold outside to take it off, so you don’t even get to see what’s underneath lol. We will leave that outfit for another day:)

Sophie is just the best accessory/prop ever. She sits well, she wants to be held, and she gives spontaneous kisses. What more could I ask for? It’s been a while…

Good Morning Beautiful Ladies!

I am SO sorry it has been SO long since I last posted. I have been super busy with the new job, trying to find a new place to live, and honeymooning in Jamaica. BUT, we have found a house to live in and moved in last Saturday(YAY), the job is going really well, and the honeymoon was ABSOLUTELY amazing! I wish that I could be back on the beach and watch the sunset every night on the ocean!

Well, anyways, on to what I have been up to since the last post! Well, summer is in full swing here in Austin, TX so there have been lots of sundresses and cowboy boots:)

I spent Mother’s Day weekend in Dallas with my parents and my sister’s family. This is my adorable niece, Anniston, and I. And of course my cute Navy & White striped dress with yellow accents:)

On Mother’s day we all went to dinner at Buca di Beppo. This is me with my fur baby, Sophie. (Just a note: To get the look for my hair, use a curling wand. Best invention EVER.)

Sophie went to doggie daycare at the day before the honeymoon. The woman who was taking care of her took pictures and sent them to me throughout the day. Needless to say, she is my new favorite person. Look how sweet:)

My Addictive Personality

Hello Everyone!

I am new to the blogging world, so bear with me:) I realized after hours (and I mean HOURS) of browsing Pinterest and other people’s blogs that I am addicted…..to SO many things. Food I won’t be able to make, fashion I won’t fit in to, decorating a house I don’t have, crafting awesome things (usually for the kids I don’t have), and a million other things. I figured if I’m going to spend so much time thinking about these things I might as well write all my thoughts down. So, <drumroll> here they are!

Now, just a little bit about me before I get started…

I met my husband when we were 16, we were in a play together. I was the new girl and he was the goofy, yet charming theater guy. This is us in the 11th grade:

We ended up at prom together senior year, this is us again (Yes, I realize it looks like a wedding photo, so did the woman developing my film. Yes, they still had film back then).

We went to a small liberal arts school together and graduated in 2009. After college we moved in together and had fun living and growing together until he proposed to me in July of 2011.

We then moved to Austin, Texas together in November 2011 and made a long trip back to Michigan to be married on August 10, 2012.
