- Vaseline Lip Therapy– My lips have been SUPER dry lately. Although it is a little sticky feeling, it makes my lips feel SO much better and it lasts for hours! If you don’t love sticky feeling lips you could also try Carmex chapstick– it is also fantastic for dry lips!
- Burts Bees Lip Shimmer: I have the rhubarb shade and I LOVE it! I love that it gives you that burt’s bees tingle and a little color at the same time. There is nothing worse than putting lipstick or gloss on over chapstick and having it not stay on!
- Eucerin Intensive Repair– Great for dry skin! I use this on my hands mostly, but I also use it on the rest of my body if I get dry spots.
- BBW True Blue Spa Shea Cashmere hand cream– Smells like heaven. It leaves your hands feeling all silky and smelling amazing!
- NYC City Proof Twistable Crayon– I have the Riverside Rose shade. I love all of the crayons, but this color is my new spring favorite!
- Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser– Yes, I realize I am in my 20s and don’t need age rewind lol, but this stuff is amazing for dark circles under the eyes! That’s really the only place I used it, but it is a miracle worker! (I have the medium shade.)
- L’Oreal true match– I love how light weight it is, it doesn’t even feel like you have put make up on. I don’t do cakey, thick foundations that don’t let your skin breathe! (My shade: w3 nude beige)
- Mary Kay Gel Eyeliner- I can’t link to the exact one because they don’t have an online shop, but if you have a friend who sells it, get some! This is the Maybelline version of it.
- YSL Mascara– I just got some of this in my Influenster box and I am in LOVE! It makes my lashes look even longer than they already do and it doesn’t clump and get all funky. Yes, funky is a very technical term….
- Ponds Face cream– My mom has been using this stuff for years and she swears by it. I love that it makes my face soft without over oiling it.

Spring Is Here- Pink & Green
Wow, this whole time change thing has REALLY screwed me up this year! I don’t know why it’s so bad, but I am really struggling over here, STILL! I also think it has a bit to do with the fact that my sister and I stayed up until 2AM talking when I was in Dallas this weekend. Lol! Well, I definitely need to work on getting to bed early this week so that I can start getting up in the mornings to go to classes at my gym:) I’ve been really good at going to classes through Fitmob lately, but they have all been after work which always takes up so much of my night and makes me feel much less productive. I would much rather get up early and get it all over with first time so that I have my nights to spend with my husband, blog, craft, or do other fun stuff that I want to do!
Get The Look:
All That Glitters Baby Head wrap // Old Navy Denim & Cardigan // Charming Charlie Shirt, Sunglasses & Clutch // Five Below Shoes // Sam Moon Necklace // Jawbone UP24
I put this outfit together to match my green and pink head wrap and I love how springy and colorful it is. Green and pink are an unusual, but fantastic color combo that I really should wear more of! Oh and by the way, if you follow me on Intsagram you will know, but these shoes…yeah…they were $5. I couldn’t believe it when I saw the sign. You just can’t beat $5 for shoes, especially when they aren’t something you plan to wear every single day. The head wrap was made by yours truly and you can purchase yours here. It’s comfy, it can be tied multiple ways, and it didn’t slip off of my head at all when I wore it. Score for me!!
Tomorrow is hump day again already…my how the time flies. I’m going to try to get a recipe up here some time this week, so stick around for that!

Pom Poms Are My New Favorite
I saw these all over last summer and they are already popping up again! Thank goodness, because I LOVE them! They make everything a little girlie and feminine. To be honest, they even make some ugly, old lady prints adorable just by being attached! Haha! I really want to make some pom pom shorts for myself this spring that I can wear with my bikini at Barton Springs:) I will most DEFINITELY be making some for little girls to put in my shop too! I’ll have to list them in adult sizes and offer them up to all of you as well, because lets be real…they WILL be adorable! Maybe a pom pom giveaway is in order?! We shall see!
Do you have any pom pom items? If you do, I’m jealous! Share where they came from and a link to how you styled them!
Fit Friday: The 6 Best Apps To Get And Stay Healthy
Welcome to Fit Friday! I was going to pick my top 5 apps, but I just couldn’t pick between my 6 favorites. All of the apps I’m going to talk about today, are ones that I use personally and I think they are great for helping you get healthier!
- Jawbone UP– This is the app that goes along with the Jawbone devices, but you can sync a lot of different devices to it, including android devices. The Up app has graphs to show you your step progress, allows you to keep track or your sleep and other activities, and lets you have teammates to motivate you. A bunch of guys at my work have this app with me and it’s always fun competition to see who is winning for the day! It also challenges you to beat your current average and those sorts of things, which are always really motivational for me. I honestly think having this app has made me walk 3 times farther than I normally would have in a day.
- My Fitness Pal– This is an app that you can track all of your food and work outs through. It also syncs with my Up app, which is super nice! I track my foods and it will tell me how many calories I have left and if I am eating too much sugar, carbs, etc. I love the barcode scanning part that allows you to scan the barcode of any item and it will give you the nutritional information. No more searching through a database to find the exact food you need! This really helps me see exactly how much I really am eating. I would recommend not dieting for the first few days, and just see how much you really do consume. It’s very eye opening and I guarantee most of you are eating much less healthy than you think you are!
- Couch25K– A great app for someone who would like to run, but has never really done it. I used this when I first started running back in 2013. It’s great for easing your way into running and not burning yourself out. Highly recommend, especially to those who want to get in to running.
- iRunner– This is a great app for those without any sort of tracking device. I tells you how long you ran/walked and all of your stats to go along with it. Mph, distance, calories, elevation ascent and descent, lap times, and it even maps it out for you. This one is wonderful for walkers and runners.
- Deck of Cards– I love this app for when you don’t have time to go to the gym. It’s a great one to do first thing in the morning just before your shower, or before you shower at night. It goes by quickly and requires no equipment, yet it is intense. Love this one.
- Spotify– Music has saved my running career. If it weren’t for music, I would have given up on running long ago. Music has honestly make me work out harder and better many a time. Put on a good jam and I am running faster, pedaling harder, or lifting bigger weights. It’s true:)
Now, I am in no way an expert, these are just apps I have found that have worked for me….I also want to try the Zombies Run app, but am a little skeptical about it. Anyone out there tried it? Maybe I’ll take the plunge and spend the $3.99 soon and report back to ya!
